Description
Prison Break is an hour long of heart pounding, action packed, suspenseful drama television show on the fox network. It is one of the most viewed television shows today and has many interesting twists. The main character is a man named Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) that is trying to get his framed brother out of one of the best jails in the nation, Fox River. His brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) was framed for killing a person high in the government and is on death row cause of it. Michael is a very smart guy and robs a bank just to get into the same jail as his brother. Not really smart I think, but he has a plan. Before he goes into the jail he tattoos the blue prints of the jail on his upper body. While in the jail he gets some friends and they introduced a lot of people this way and kept it fresh, because some were just in that one episode. Michael and his new comrades were on a limited time because Lincoln is on death row and the line wasn’t all that long before he was next. His friends came in very useful because he almost gets caught at least two or three times in each episode and they distract the guards just enough to for him to get away. That just makes it so suspenseful that people sit on the edge of your seat and draws you into wanting to see the next episode. This is just about the two first seasons, there are two other seasons that are just as good or even better that seem like their own series. I won’t tell the end to that story, just watch it; it’s worth sitting down for an hour.
Analysis
While watching Prison Break, you don’t really know what to expect other than something to dramatically alter the situation at hand. One episode, Sarah, the nurse that Michael was with gets killed because he couldn’t get a guy out of jail. But later in another season she wasn’t dead, they just said that so he would speed up the process. They make every episode so suspenseful and open ended that it keeps you wanting more. It’s very down to earth, but at the same time, very intelligent. The storyline is very vague on where it’s going and that makes the viewers want to watch but on the other hand they make a lot of money that way also.
